A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer match the needs of your site, or when you go through constant downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the support staff to get back to you, it might be a clever idea to switch your web hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your websites together with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At Hosting Para Emprendedores, we realize that this can often be hard and time–consuming. That’s the reason why we will perform all that for you for free!Our highly professional technical team representatives will transfer your web site content from your current web hosting provider to us. Our technicians have a lot of experience migrating web sites and are able to handle anything – from a customary WordPress–powered weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven web site, to a very elaborate, custom–built web app.

A: There are many aspects to bear in mind – the overall amount of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the present workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. That said, we do try to implement all web site migrations in a 48–hour window. Smaller–sized sites are transferred faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: Yep. We’ll need the name of the site that you would like us to migrate. We’ll also require a way to log into your present web hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your site.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your web hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose practically the same details you have given to your old host. We also have a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes how delicate info is handled.

A: While we transfer your website, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your old web hosting provider. Once the migration is done, we will make sure that everything is working correctly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised prior to notifying you that the transfer is over. Then we’ll tell you how to transfer the domain name over to your hosting account with us and how to edit your DNS records.

A: Nope. We will never touch base with your hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the website transfer either.

A: Yeah. We support all standard Linux–based web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–powered web hosting platforms, because we don’t provide Windows hosting solutions ourselves.In addition, we don’t support proprietary website building and management tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
